It's Time to Chase Your Dreams!

We all have been given dreams for a reason, not to sit on them or to push them to the side.

The Time is Now! Chase that dream, you couldn't imagine where this road will lead but you will never get there if you never try.

Your dreams need to be nurtured. Nobody can do that like you can. Invest in yourself! Believe in YOU and watch your dreams become a reality!

Dream Chasing

Have you ever felt disconnected, like you are just going through the motions? You get up each day but you are not sure what you are working towards. There is no passion, no love for what you are doing and you pray that this is not the rest of your life. You are in a rut and maybe you do not know how to get out of it but one thing is for sure, you have to do something. If you keep sitting around, waiting for something to happen, you will be dead on your feet. Studies show that approximately 98% of people die without fulfilling their dreams. I would venture to say that the majority of this number either tried, failed, and gave up, or never tried at all.

I have spent a great deal of my life searching for meaning. I have talent in many areas but passion in a limited few. I am passionate about my spiritual well-being, my writing, and my desire to help others. It took me years of discontent to get to this point. It is in this season of life that I am determined to cultivate my passions. I have spent too long sitting on my talents, going through the motions when there are dreams to be realized. Fear is responsible for my hesitance and I am tired of being afraid. I am more afraid of arriving at the end of my life with a mountain full of regrets.

I know what you are thinking, there are risks, but you will never know unless you try. For me, simply looking back on all the times that I was successful when others doubted me is proof enough that the impossible is possible. I have taken safe risks my entire life, got those degrees, went for that job, tried this new thing. However, in the areas where my passions lie, I have played it safe. I am a writer but my manuscripts have been sitting, waiting for me to stop being afraid of literary rejection. I thought up Diverse Perspectives years ago, think of how much further I would have been if only I had believed in myself? I allowed fear to paralyze me but no more, this is a new day.

I know from experience that it only takes one moment, one person, one event, to change your life. My life is full of life-changing moments and I am sure that I am not the only one. So today, I am promoting dreams, because one day I will be living mine. No more excuses, no more regrets, no more wasted time. What dreams are you sleeping on?
